What we thought....

 This book (which is the first of 3 in a Trilogy) is written in such a way that you can see how this type of situation is possible, and it will make you wonder about how we would survive, if this happened to us now.  It really gets you thinking.  Middle School students will love the diary entry format, and can relate to Miranda and other members of her family.
